What is the GOODYEAR Welted System?

It is the process of footwear manufacture invented in England by Charles Goodyear Jr. in 1872.

Today the shoe experts say that the unique process of sewing "GoodYear" is still the best method to reach the excellence of a good shoe-making.

This artisan process with the help of machines consists of two parts:

  1. Goodyear sewing joins the vamp with the welt and the insole.
  2. A second seam (Welt) joins the welt with the sole
